originally embarked in 1994 on a quest to photograph the 43 American cities
visited by Robert Frank. This book covers 12 of the original 43 cities shot
between 1994 and 2002. Mr. Skaggs traveled to New York, New Jersey, Chicago,
Cleveland, Indianapolis, Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Washington, D.C., among other
cities in the Northeast and Midwest.
